Collegiate Objective

College for me really taught myself who I was. I have already grown as an individual and have been taking on more and more responsibilities. Learning how to wake up to an alarm clock to go to class was among one of the more simpler ways I have grown in becoming less dependent upon others. Learning to live with others took me by surprise but made me become more accepting to other people's habbits and charistictics. I know these few years in college will help me grow as an individual and becoming the adult I will soon become in the real world.

After my first simester at college, I have already changed my major to civil engineering. My first grade point average was a 3.59. I am an active member on the Western Michigan University Sailing Team serving as vice commadore. I plan to remain on the dean's list although I know it will take hard work. I hope to incorporate my intrest of mathmatics and physics into my engineering degree related profession.
