About WMU
WMU is a division 1 school. It is placed in the top 100 public universities in the United States. WMU is commited to being learner centered, discovery driven, and globally engaged. It was founded in 1903 and became Michigans fourth public university in 1957. There are more than 240 academic programs that are offered here. Out of 25,000 students, more than 20% of them are enrolled in graduate course work. The campus includes more than 1200 acres, and 143 buildings.
