Research

I am currently working on several papers using the 2007 Madagascar commune census, a data set covering the entire country and a project that I managed over two months in Madagascar.  In 2013, I started working on a project in Kenya with Vivian Hoffmann at IFPRI and funding from the Global Center for Food Systems Innovation studying aflatoxin contamination in maize and consumer willingness to pay for aflatoxin-tested maize flour.  I currently serve as an associate editor for the journals Food Policy and the American Journal of Agricultural Economics
