Make-up
lessons cannot be guaranteed, but will be offered for exceptional
circumstances. If a student misses the appointed time of the lesson, no credit
or refund can be given for the lost time. Your weekly lesson reserves my time
each week, expressly for YOU. I hope this policy strengthens an already strong
commitment between us.
If
public schools cancel, do not assume no lessons. I will contact you that day if
lessons are cancelled.
Due
to my full schedule and waiting list of prospective students, I am unable to
guarantee a lesson time for those students who fail to attend fewer than 5
lessons in any two-month period.
Each
student should bring a notebook (or small music staff book) to record weekly
assignments and lesson notes. Tape recorders can also be useful lesson tools.
Parents are welcome to sit in and observe lessons on occasion, however a
stronger student-teacher bond is created when parents are not always present.
