Collegiate Objective
When I first arrived at Western, I was not yet sure what I really wanted to do in life.  My first two years I entered into the mechanical engineering program.  This appealed to me because I always loved to fix things throughout my life, and I enjoyed understanding how things work and why they do the things they do.  As I approached my Junior year I realized that although I liked these aspects of engineering, it was not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

What really made me happy was logistics.  I like to keep things moving efficiently and smoothly.  Western has a prestigious program for Supply Chain, and at the start of my junior year I began my coursework.  I am now moving into my Senior year and expect to graduate only a year to a year and a half behind schedule.  Although this is a setback, I am taking summer courses and larger credit loads per semester to get through as fast as possible.  I am excited to enter this field and to begin my career in the next few years.
