A list of the top 25 movie musicals according to AFI can be found here. Shows By TitleShows By Title is an alphabetical listing of musical stage shows. When you click on a letter, it will list all shows that start with that letter. The box to the right of the show indicates whether or not there is any sort of recording. This includes major motion pictures, television movies, recordings of staged performances, and concert recordings. By clicking on the show's title, you will be taken to a page with more information on the show. This includes a brief description, information on any recordings of the show, and my opinion on whether or not a major motion picture should be made or remade. NewsThe news section provides links to articles about musical motion pictures currently in production. The title of the article provides the link to the actual article. The articles are categorized by date and indicate the show the article is regarding, the author, and the news source. |
