Jerusalem is home to many important religious landmarks and pilgrimage sites. In this photo we see in the forefront the Western Wall of the Jerusalem Temple (aka the Wailing Wall), a very important site for many Jewish people. In the background we find the Dome of the Rock, one of the most revered places for Muslims outside of the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
