Crankbaits - One the most commonly used bass lures. Crankbaits come is all shapes and sizes and tons of different colors. The first thing to look for on a crankbait is the size and length of the lip or bill. The bigger the lip, the deeper the lure will dive. Crankbaits usualy have two sets of treble hooks on the bottom for optimum hook setting. They are relativly simple to fish and very effective when using them in the right conditions.

Spinnerbaits - Spinnerbaits are a versitle and well rounded bass lure. They work in virtually any contitions, and are great for any size bass. Spinnerbaits come with either one or two blades. These blades are shinny and they spin which attracts the fish. The rubber skirt makes the lure look lifelike and gives it a real swimming motion.

Spin Casting Rod - Spin casting rods are rods designed to hold a spin casting reel, which is mounted above the handle. Spin casting rods have very small eyes and a forefingure grip trigger. They are a great rod for pond and small lake fishing for perch, bass, crappie, bluegill and trout.

Baitcasting Reel - Baitcasting reels are reels in which line is stored on a revolving spool. The reel is mounted above the rod facing up. This is a more advanced type of reel. It is used in competative bass fishing or by experienced bass fishermen. It is typicaly more difficult to use than other reels, but it is realiable, durable and capable of bringing in those trophy bass.
