Aloe brevifolia: Rosettes of a diameter of about 8cm. with no stalk, in continuous growth from the base until they form large clumps. The leaves are 6cm.long and 2cm.wide at the base, intense green with serrated edges. The inflorescence is about 40cm.long with pale scarlet flowers.
Hernia zebrina: The flower is nearly 3 inches in diameter. It may look like plastic, but it's for real. Stapeliads are notorious for their fragrances, which suggest roadkill or worse, but these huernias are inoffensive.
Monadenium ritchei: Very popular flowering succulent. Flowers in fall and spring with small pink inflorescences emerging from stem tips.
