Collegiate Objective

In general, I am entering college to study and graduate with a degree in order to fully pursue my career and dreams.  However, on a more personal level, college will allow me to grow as a person.  College will allow me to discover more about myself and the world.  There are no parents to protect me.  I am out on my own and must learn from my own mistakes.  But hopefully through those mistakes, I am able to better understand what interests me and what I am really passionate about.
On a more professional level, I hope to do well in school and graduate with honors and a bachelor’s degree in business.  Hopefully in the long run this will set me up for a long and prosperous career that I am able to enjoy although graduate school is not out of the question.  One of my goals over the duration of college is to achieve no less than a 3.6 GPA and stay on the dean’s list all four of my years enrolled.  I would also like to get more involved in school clubs and activities, such as business fraternities and clubs that will provide me with an advantage in networking for the future.  I did not take high school very seriously but college is another story.  I understand that what I do over the next four years will directly impact my life and I do not want to mess that up.  College has motivated me in a way that high school could never do and I will succeed.
