Don’t you just hate it when you look at your digital photos on the computer and you spend hours cropping and they still don’t look as good as you want them to? In this day of digital photography and point-and-shoot cameras, it is easy to become lackadaisical (this is the technical term for LAZY) with our picture-taking skills. I'll be reviewing some basic composition rules that I hope will come to mind for you when you are taking photograhs. At the end of this tutorial, we will test what you have learned by giving you a short quiz.

At the end of this tutorial, you should be able to define the composition principles, pick out different composition principles used in a photograph and make suggestions for use of these principles to improve sample photographs.  We will test what you have learned by answering quiz questions at the end of this tutorial.
