I have many personal goals that I would like to achieve. While I have overcome a lot of obstacles over the last couple of years, there are still areas that I would like to improve on. It is through the achievement of these goals that I will attain the success that I am looking for. First, I would like to become more social in order to meet new people. Second, I need to develop better public speaking skills. Currently, I tend to become nervous when presenting to peers and colleagues.
 
On a professional level I plan to graduate from Western Michigan University with at an overall GPA of 3.5. I will continue my studies, graduating with a double major in Psychology and Public Relations. Prior to graduation I intend to be more career focused. I will accomplish this by studying harder and develop new skills that will aid me in the future. It is my intention to become more active in both scholarly and extracurricular activities. I will continue going to school full-time while maintaining my work full-time between two jobs.  My current job working in the Corporate Relations office on campus as an assistant, is providing me with many career skills. I am planning events independently, including banquets and tailgates. After graduation, I plan to move to New York City or Chicago, and pursue a career in Event Planning or Public Relations.
