Attending Western Michigan University has been a great experience so far. I have learned a lot about my interest and possible career choices. I want to use my education and knowledge to break in to the marketing world. I have always been interested in advertising and promotion specifically and Western has offered plenty of clubs and career fairs for me to learn more and realize what will fit me best. I have also enjoyed mostly classes that I have been taking related to business. I do take pleasure in the business side of advertising because meeting different companies and gaining new clients really interest me. Being a part of the Haworth College of Business has been the biggest tool for me so far because there are many people to answer any question I have and give me great guidance.

A big goal of mine is to work for a well known company such as Macy’s, create their ad campaigns and gain experience. My next step would be to branch out and start my own Marketing firm. Entrepreneurs and small business owners add to this economy and I would be like on to do the same. The classes I have taken so far have been preparing to my field of choice but, I really take a lot from my economic classes and business computing class. These classes address useful information I will need no matter what career field I enter.
