U.S. Peace Corps, Kenya, 1969-1971, High school courses in general science, algebra, world history, African history, and English as a Foreign Language

Career English Language Center for International Students, Western Michigan University, 1975-present. Taught Reading, Grammar, Writing, and Speaking and Listening to ESL students at all levels. Specialized in academic writing, content-based integrated reading and writing courses, and teaching computer usage to international students.  Served as level coordinator numerous times, and on various committees for curriculum development.
