Some Compounds of the 16-Cell


One may combine several copies of the regular 16-cell to obtain some interesting models. First we see some compounds of four 16-cells:



Each of these represents a certain section of the regular compound of fifteen 16-cells. The model appearing below represents one fourth of this compound. (At the time, I didn't have enough pieces for a complete model.)



Notice that the symmetry group for all of these models (were they complete) is the direct product of the two-element group with the rotation symmetries of the regular tetrahedron.
