Dec 8.
Your instructor is not holding an office hour on Friday December 9.
If you wish to meet with him, you are recommended to make an appointment for Thursday December 8
or during the final exam week.
Dec 7.
The final exam is scheduled for 10:15-12:15 on Monday December 12.
The exam is comprehensive over everything covered throughout the course, although there
may be greater emphasis on material covered in the last few weeks of classes, especially
multiple integrals and various guises of Stokes' theorem.
Nov 15.
Your third exam is scheduled for November 22. The exam will cover any material
discussed in class or in the homework, up to and including section 5.3. At least
one problem from the assigned homework appears on the exam. You may use a calculator
throughout the exam.
Oct 24.
Your second exam is scheduled for October 28. The exam will cover any material
discussed in class or in the homework, up to and including section 3.5. At least
one problem from the assigned homework appears on the exam. You may use a calculator
throughout the exam.
Oct 6.
Your instructor shall be absent during the week of October 17-21.
Prof. Steve Mackey shall conduct classes on October 17, 18, 20, and 21.
You are encouraged to speak with him throughout the week if you have questions about anything,
although your instructor shall have access to email during this period.
Sept 23.
Your first exam is scheduled for September 30. The exam will cover any material
discussed in class or in the homework, up to and including section 2.1. At least
one problem from the assigned homework appears on the exam. You may use a calculator
throughout the exam.
Sept 21.
Our class is meeting in room 3396 of Rood Hall (at the usual time) on Friday September 23.
This is a computer lab and the purpose of the meeting is to get acquainted with using
Maple to graph and visualize curves and surfaces in R3.
