Ebony Jennings was born on February 27, 1985 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is the third out of four children born to Greg and Gwen Jennings. She has three siblings named Valyncia, Greg Jr., and Cortney. During her childhood, her father worked at Pfizer while also maintaining a full time position as a Pastor at Progressive Deliverance Ministries C.O.G.I.C.

Ebony attended Kalamazoo Public Schools where she then went on to pursue her Bachelors degree at Western Michigan University. In 2007, she receive her Bachelors in Business Management  from Western Michigan Unversity. Upon graduation she began her search for a career job in the business industry.

In 2008 She began working as an Administrative Assistant at The Greg Jennings Foundation, a non profit organization located in downtown Kalamazoo. As time passed, she worked her way up to become the Administrative Director of The Greg Jennings Foundation, where she currently works. As Administrative Director, she works closely with the President and Stakeholders, hosting programs aligning with the foundation’s vision and mission to develop and sustain programming and operations as well as many other tasks.

The Greg Jennings Foundation has given her tremendous experience in non-profit while also providing her with experience in community relations, event planning, marketing, public relations, and budgeting while expanding her knowledge in philanthropy.

In the Fall of 2010, Ebony went on to pursue her Masters degree in Sport Management at Western Michigan University where she accepted the Graduate Teaching Assistanship. As a current Graduate Teaching Assistant, she teaches health and wellness courses that includes Aerobics, Racquet Sports, Walking, and also a general Relaxation course.

In her spare time, Ebony loves to sing, spend time with family and friends, read, and travel. She currently sings background (soprano) for Pastor Andrew Beresford out of Grand Rapids, Michigan where he released a new album entitled "Here's My Life." She also sings background (soprano) for Jonathan Plair out of Detroit, Michigan where he is soon to release a new album.
