Holland State Park Holland State Park offers a park divided into two different areas. They each have their own campground area. The park also has a beautiful, large beach on Lake Michigan. Laketown Beach Laketown Beach is located along Lake Michigan is a great beach to spend the day on. Windmill Island Windmill Island is a scenic gem in Holland. They offer a very old, still working, Dutch Windmill. Take a tour of the windmill, look at all of the beautiful tulips, or have a look around the greenhouse. There is also a street organ and Klompen Dancers who wear traditional wooden shoes. Knickerbocker Theatre Owned by Hope College, the Knickerbocker Theatre hosts a variety of different plays all year long. They also show a lot of different film series which usually only charge $5 for students. 84 East Food and Spirits 84 East is open for both lunch and dinner. Their menu includes foods such as salads, pizza, pasta and other specialties. Try some of their baked spaghetti pie! Froggy's Froggy's specializes in hot dogs, burgers and french fries. Prices are very reasonable with a single burger only costing $2.19! The Windmill Restaurant The Windmill Restaurant offers a great selection of breakfast foods including omelets, breakfast specials and pancakes. Their lunch menu is just as varied with burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups and more!
