Business Plan
The business plan was a real challenge.
At the beginning I was hoping that my group colleagues are going to be
interested in the business plan and not be lazy. At the end I was proved that
some were very interested in the work and some were not so interested.
I have met 3 kinds of personality while
working with my group.
The first personality was the “I do not
care about anything”. That member of the group showed up only at the first
meeting. I have never seen him since then. I do not know if he dropped the
class or if he was not interested in the plan.
The second personality was the “can not
hold my promises”. This member of the group promised that will do a lot of
research but actually did not do a lot of stuff. He was always late for the
meeting but we never wrote him as absent.
The other members of the group were
very cooperative and helpful with the plan. At the end we spend more than 6
hours at the meetings so we can finish our plan. Nobody complained and we all
did a great job.
From this experience I learned that a
group can be very helpful in finishing projects. I also understand that many
ideas put together can result in a wonderful work, you just need committed
people.
Until this semester I was afraid to
work in a team. I was thinking that by doing myself all the work it will be
better. Now I realize that if I did not have this team I would never finish the
plan in such a short time. I am glad that I discover team work and I know this
experience will help through college and work years.
For future team assessments in college I hope for good students in my team. In the same time it is scary knowing that in a future team I might have only people that do not care about school.
