Crane Shot - shot from a crane
Pan - camera movment from side to side
Tracking Shot- camera placed on dolly and moves
P.O.V. Shot - a shot from a character's point of view
Reaction Shot - a shot of someones reaction to what is seen in the P.O.V. shot
Dolly Shot - a shot filmed from a dolly
Fade Out - a transitional shot where the screen slowly goes black
Fade In - transisional shot where the screen goes from black to shot
Aspect Ratio - the proportions of a frame
Stock - the actual film used for cameras
Continuity - the seamlessness of detail between shots and scenes
Dubbing - the re-recording of dialogue in a studio
180 Degree Rule - rule stating that the in an action sequence the camera is not to cross the 180 degree line of filming so that the audience does not get confused.
