On a personal level, I decided to attend Western because of their prestigious nursing school and to be on the varsity basketball team. After I came on a visit to Western, I absolutely fell in love with the campus. So far, I have made a lot of new friends, and I really like the new atmosphere of college life, there is always something to do. I miss my friends back home, but with all the new friends I'm making, it makes life a lot easier.

On a professional level, I aspire to become a Nurse Anesthetist, or possibly go to D.O. school to become an Orthopedic Surgeon. I would like ot be able to live comfortably and drive an $80,000.00 car. The biggest adjustment so far has been the schooling. Basketball took a little bit getting used to, but the schooling was so much of an adjustment. I never had to study in high school, and now I have to study weeks in advance for a test. My grades are good still though, so it will be ok.
