Meet in 2211 Rood on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:00 to 2:50.

Text (required):

Introduction to Electrodynamics, Third Edition, by David J. Griffiths, Simon & Schuster (1999).

Content:

Chapters 1 through 7 will be covered.

Homework:

Will be due approximately every week and a half, and will count 40% toward your final grade.

First Assignment:

Griffiths, Chapter 1, Problems 1.3, 1.6, 1.8, 1.9, 1.12, 1.13, 1.15, 1.18, due Friday, 9/13.

Exams:

There will be two regular exams, one on Thursday, 10/10, and one on Thursday, 11/14. Each will count 15% toward your final grade.

Final Exam:

The final exam, 30% of your total grade, will take place on Wednesday, December 11$^{th}$, from 12:30-2:30, in 2211 Rood.
