My name is Heidi Lynn Janshego and I am an aspiring teacher at Western Michigan University. I was born in Beechgrove, Indiana and I grew up in Greenwood In. I lived there until I was twelve years old. Throughout my elementary years of schooling I attended Our Lady of Greenwood School. Our Lady is a Catholic school where I had nuns for teachers. I really liked going to school here but once I turned twelve my dad had a job transfer, so we moved to South Lyon Michigan. This was very scary for my family because all of our family members lived in the Indianapolis area. I began going to school at South Lyon Middle School and I became very close with a few girls. After a few years had passed we were pretty well adjusted to Michigan and I began the intimidating years of high school. I went to South Lyon High School and I really enjoyed these four years of school. I graduated from high school in 2002 and then I went on to WMU. I have attended WMU for the past five years and this is the only school I have been to throughout my college years. My major is English and my minor is in German, so I have a great interest in the German life and culture.
I am very close with my family which is the reason why it has always been difficult for me to live away from them while I have been in college. My mom, dad, and younger brother live in South Lyon. My older sister is married but lives very close and is frequently visiting my mom and dad's house. When I am home it is so fun because we are always planning out a fun activity for the day to keep us busy. I love to be with my family and have so much fun when we are all together.
My interests are vast but my favorite way to spend my day is golfing, reading, shopping or spending time with my family and friends. I really like to golf but my skill level is quite disappointing. I have several favorite books that I have read over the years but my very favorite is Danielle Steele's Ghost. One of my favorite hobbies is trying to get a good deal at a store. I like to bargain shop and try to find valuable items at a very reduced price. Like I mentioned before I really like being with my family and friends and this is the best way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
