Terrell's research interests are primarily in the modular representation theory of algebraic groups and related objects. (For more information about her research interests, click here.) She received her Ph.D. in pure mathematics under the direction of Brian Parshall at the University of Virginia in 1999, and is currently the dissertation advisor for Joe Fox.
