Examples of technology use in other classrooms:
I have used technology in my other classes quite frequently! We continually use word to type many papers, and with word we started to learn how to use other factors that go with it (i.e. clip art, cut and paste, how to make lists and many other items.) Word is not just something that is used for homework and papers, you can also use word to make rubrics, and other items needed for any work area.
Not only have we had to use technology to write/type papers but we also use computers for researching material, creating graphs, making spread sheets, etc. I believe that in every class that I have taken it has been required to use a computer at least once throughout the semester.
Also technology is used outside of our classrooms! We use this technology everyday whether it is through e-mail, communication, writing post-its to remind us of daily items, or any other thing we might think of. Technology has become so big in the world today that we use it more frequently every year. I have come to the knowledge that technology is not just used for classroom materials, but you can use it for just about anything now.
