On a personal level, I entered college for many reasons. I believed that entering college would expand myknowledge of different people and cultures. With such a diverse group of people at WMU I believe that this school was a good place for me to accomplish that goal. Also, I entered college to meet new people. I have many friends from high school that I am still close with but I also have many friends that I have met throughout my college years.

On a proffessional level, I entered college to find out what I wanted to do with my life. When I graduated high school I wasn't sure what I wanted to major in at WMU. Even after my first year at WMU I still wasn't sure what I wanted to major in at WMU. After a few more classes I decided I wanted to major in accounting. I had taken principles of accounting I and II and did very well in both them. Accounting seemed to come naturally to me and intersted me. I believe once I graduate from WMU with a degree in accounting I would like to start working for a firm. Eventually I would like to go back to school and receive my CPA certification.
