Joe Sanders's COM354 Final Exam
Fall 2007

Answer 2

An external link is a link that connects a given website (a group of HTML documents) to another related website in another part of the World Wide Web.

Internal Links have two forms: Inra-links and Inter-links. An Intra-link is a link from one point in an HTML document to another point in the same HTML document. Intra-links are typically used in larger webpages to make navigation easier.

Inter-links are links from one HTML document to another in a given Website. These are necessary to quickly and easily navigate the many webpages of a given website.
