Joe Sanders's COM354 Final Exam
Fall 2007

Answer 8

It is important to have all pages in a given website look alike because it maintains, to the user, that they are still on track. If all the webpages look different, the user will become confused and frustrated, believing they have inadvertantly moved to a different webpage. Having the same banner and buttons, as well as a style sheet creating a consistent color scheme across all related webpages aleviates this confusion/frustration. Plus, it gives the website a more professional appearance, which other users are sure to return to often.
