Safe size tables refers to those that will fit on any monitor screen. Even the most low-resolution monitors on the market today. The smallest monitors in use are 800 pixels wide, so a safe size is between 750 and 800. Hence, a table used on a web page should not be wider than 800 pixels, or else the web page will bleed out of the right side and the user will have to scroll back and forth horizontally to read the content. This is a big irritant and the user will get frustrated with your website. So, it is important to use safe size tables.
