Collegiate Ojective

When I finished High School, I felt great, but I felt even better knowing I would be come one of the first people in my immediate family to go to a major college. I knew coming into this experience that I was going to learn a lot, and I was going to test myself in many ways. However, the main thing driving me to attend a college was, wanting to manage a hockey shop. I knew that the easiest way for me to make this happen was with a good college education. When I found out how good Western Michigan University’s business program was, I knew this was the place to help make my dream a reality. I have been a hockey player my whole life, and I always walked out of hockey shops, knowing that it would be great to have this job. Who doesn’t want to deal with a subject they have loved their whole life, as their job. I know as soon as I start taking management classes here, I will be well on my way to success

I also want to learn what it takes to live on my own. I need to provide and look after myself now, unlike living at home. Everything depends on my decisions alone, and being on my own has helped me to learn which decisions I have made that are right, and which are wrong. Overall I know I will walk away from here a better person, than when I came.
