Physical education is an educational process that uses physical education to contribute to an individual’s fitness, psychomotor, cognitive, and affective areas of development. It is concerned with the teaching of skills, gaining of knowledge and development of attitudes through movement. Physical education should provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge that will allow them to lead healthy, active lifestyles.
Physical education Provides students with multiple opportunities to assess fitness levels, strengthen developed skills, and develop new skills. Physical education helps develop lifetime skills that an individual can use in and out of a school setting. Activities should provide and opportunity for the development of interpersonal relationships. Individuals will grow socially, physically, and emotionally through team and individual sports.
