Welcome to the Parent page of Miss Jackie's Website. Thank you for visiting this website and being a part in your child's education here at Farmington Elementary school. This page will give you some helpful information on my experiences as a teacher, the classroom newspaper, links to helpful websites, and other great information for you to go back and look at to keep updated on what is going on in the classroom.

I have had had a lot of experience with working with children. First and foremost, I have a very large family who I am very close to and there are A LOT of children! I have babysat for as long as I can remember and also work at Childtime and Sunny Daycare. Last year was my first year working in a classroom being a pre-internship and I am very eager to start off the new year.

Kids Domain has some very helpful websites that will show some of the things I will be going over in the classroom and that you may want to be familiar with yourself.

Some more web sites that may be helpful-

• Helping Children Succeed in School is a website designed to, well, help children succeed in school. It has information from struggling with tests, homework, or even parental involvement to make sure that your student gets the most out of their education.

• Safe Surfing for Teens is a great website that will inform you and your child about the dangers of the internet. Especially with our generation, this is a big threat and this website will keep people informed on how to prevent these issues.

• Teachersfirst.com put this website with a lot of great book selections. If you click on them you can get a summary of the books and they have some of my favorites!
