Chrysler
They love to sell cars at Love Chrysler, and that's a fact. In addition to the Chrysler make, the company's two dealerships in Texas carry Dodge and Jeep vehicles. The locations also offer service, parts, and financing. Love's Web site allows customers to apply for financing, build and price a vehicle, check new and used inventory, order parts, schedule a service appointment, and schedule a test drive. Love Chrysler was founded in 1989 by president and CEO Marion Luna Brem, author of The 7 Greatest Truths About Successful Women (Penguin Putnam).
Volvo
Despite the fact that the name "Volvo" conjures up more visions of soccer moms than of burly truck drivers, AB Volvo has parked its car business. The company is now a leading maker of trucks, buses, and construction equipment as well as marine (Volvo Penta), aircraft (Volvo Aero), and industrial engines. The company's most widely known business -- auto making -- has been sold to US-based carmaker Ford Motor Company. The sale enabled Volvo to focus on its remaining units, particularly trucks. Its other interests include full control of the famous Mack Trucks brand in North America and Renault Trucks in Europe.
