Field Assignment #3: In about 1 page, describe one unintentional injury prevention measure you can perform or maintain for yourself or your family. Please provide the necessary references and resources so that someone else could follow the same precautions you plan on taking.

Sexual Violence Reading – not required, but...  you should understand the basics about the Public Health Approach and the Ecological Model – there may be 1 or 2 related multiple choice questions on the final.

Resilience Notes – also for another take on it, look at Nan Henderson’s example – keep in mind that these are abstract ideas that can be re-envisioned in several ways.  The key is to consider that by integrating these concepts into the learning experience we can prevent a significant proportion of violent and other anti-social behavior.
