Collegiate Objective

On a personal level, I am entering college to better myself.  While it has always been expected of me to continue my education after high school, I discovered that I needed to go to improve myself on my own.  I firmly believe that the time I spend in college, living away from home, and keeping track of my own responsibilities will ultimately help shape who I will be in the future.  Now the experience of college can influence for the better or worse.  It is up to me what to make of it and to choose what I want to get out of it.  My goal is to better myself so I can help better society as a whole now and in the future.

On a professional level, I want to gain the knowledge I need to achieve my long term goals in life.  First off, one of my goals in school is to maintain a high GPA and make the Dean’s List every semester I am at Western Michigan.  I want to learn all I can, not only from my teachers, but also from my fellow students in order to help achieve my occupational goals.  I am double majoring in Business and Criminal Justice in order to give myself a wide spectrum of skills and expertise to make myself appealing to the Federal level of Law Enforcement.  With the hard work I put into my college career, law enforcement agencies such as the F.B.I. will not be able to turn me down.
