Collegiate Objective

Going to college is a big leap for a young person. Basically, it is the biggest leap someone can take. Personally, I came to college with the mindset of success. In today's economic based world failure isn't hard to comeby and I believe that an education is vital. Coming to college will help me attain a great job and hopefully a great future. I want to learn enough in college for a satisfying career and a happy life. A scholarly goal of mine is to graduate with a good GPA so it will help with a good resume.

On the other hand, coming to college has always been a goal of mine. Regardless of the degree, pay, or time I knew from a young age it was a task I wanted to complete. I know coming to college will help me discover more about my likes and dislikes. College helps people find 'their calling' I guess you could say. Everyone has seen a parent go to a job they absolutely hate and I truthfully believe that college filters that out for me. Overall, I am just hoping that college will help me find the true me.
