To start your home buying process, start visiting open houses. You will get a sense of what is out there, the different styles, features, etc. You will meet a realtor in every home. Ask any questions but dont sign any contracts yet.

Working with a Real Estate Agent

Look for a realtor who is easy to communicate with. And someone who will listen to you. And someone who is not in a hurry to sell you a home.
