Safe Size Table Grid

Depending on its resolution the a monitors's ability to display text changes. High resolution monitors display more content and low resolution monitors display less. When we us table grids and place text in a cell, text wraps around to the next line only at the edge of the cell and not the browser window. Because of this, if the user's monitor cannot display the whole width of the table grid, he/she will have to scroll back and forth to read the content of the webpage. This can be very frustrating. So as a designer we want to make sure that table grids will display in full on every monitor no matter how low its resolution is. Currently the oldest monitors in use have a width of around 1000 pixels. So our table grid should never be more then 1000 pixels.
