Normality in Loops

Abstract.

Recall that a loop is a quasigroup with identity. While all groups are loops, the converse certainly does not hold, as we do not require associativity. However, certain well studied topics in group theory have loop theoretic parallels. In this talk, we shall specifically discuss the idea of normality in loops, ultimately discussing a version of the first isomorphism theorem for loops as well as some corollaries relating to Lagrange's theorem.
