About WMU

                Western Michigan University is located in Southwest Michigan in Kalamazoo. It is one of the top 100 universities in the country and is committed on academic excellence. It was founded in 1903 and became Michigan’s fourth public university in 1957. Western Michigan University offers over 240 different academic programs for students pursuing undergraduate to doctoral degrees.  Over 25,00 students attend Western Michigan University from almost every state in the United States. There is over 150 buildings on the 1,200 acre campus. There is three different campuses that include Main Campus, Parkview campus, which is the Engineering campus, and the Aviation Campus.  There are over 180,000 alums worldwide that help contribute to the success of the school through donations. Overall, Western Michigan University is a place that strives to be the best it can.
