Diversity
I have worked with a diverse population that was different from me. I have worked with many hispanic coworkers were they were the majority and I was not being a white male. These jobs I was landscaping and working at a plant nursery. I learned that different cultures value things differently, such as family and friends compared to work and school. I have also traveled through most of Michigan and experienced many different cultures and ways.
NOLS is an outdoor leadership school that brings diverse cultures together for one common link to learn about the outdoors. NOLS
Students can have diversity in their lives by joining clubs and sports that have a variety of other children.
