When I turned 16 I started to work at the only sit down restaurant in my hometown. I started off as a hostess and then started to wait tables two weeks after I started. I worked there for two and a half year (I left so I could attend college). From that restaurant I have gained a true family. During my senior year of high school I also started to work at a day care center, called Kiddie Kastle. There I helped take care of two-year-old children. When I moved down to the Kalamazoo area I started a waitress position and Ruby Tuesday. I worked on the wait staff for two years. I also worked a Kinder Care Learning Centers. At Kinder Care I was the lead infant teacher. The center closed and I was lucky enough to get a position as a prepper teacher for Tutor Time. There I was able to write lesson plans and watch them all unfold. Throughout all of my jobs I was able to work with or around children in one way or another, this helped to give me an insight for wanting to teach and work with them every day.
