Hello Parents! I hope everything is going well for you and your child. I would like to thank all that have helped supply our room with goodies and other supplies. Our whole class really appreiciates it.

Below I have posted our monthly newsletter which should keep you up to date. I have also posted on the students page their weekly homework, a monthly calander of upcoming events and any projects that are due soon. Also below are some useful links to lesson that I have put together. There is also the Kid Pix Movie which is my personal example of an assignment the children put together at the begining of the year. I have also selected a couple of websites that may be helpful for you as a parent in helping your child with school.

A littlel background information on myself as far as my teaching experiences go:

• I have finished a pre-internship at Indian Praire in a second grade classroom
• I plan on tutoring a second grader over the summer in Mathematics and Language Arts
• I plan on doing an Early Childhood facility this summer.
• In the fall of 2007 I will begin my student teaching at Winchell Elementary

• Lesson Plan on History of South Africa- this is a lesson plan which requires the children to learn some key facts on South Africa
