The following links will allow parents to see how we can use technology in the classroom and how parents can use it at home. The Movie and newsletter will allow parents to see how technology is used in my classroom. The Kids Domain paper will allow parents to safely let their children use the internet and the sites linked to this page can be helpful to parents in many ways.
Teaching children doesn't just happen in the classroom. It happens any time you are around a child. I have found oppurtunity to teach children in many situations. Whether it be reading a book to my niece and having her say what is in the pictures or playing with my nephew and teaching him how the balls go in the dragon. Babysitting has also allowed me to share with children how to be courtious and kind. I have also volunteered at the Kalamazoo Valley Mueseum where I taught a lesson at the Chemistry Day. There is always oppurtunity to teach a child every day and I want to take advantage of these oppurtunities.
