Scholastic

This site offers lesson plans that are printable, new, and for the month. There are also options for thematic units.

The Teacher's Corner

This site is very organized! There is a link for "lesson plans" and when you roll your mouse over it it will give you a list of subjects to choose from for lesson plans.

Education World

This is probably the most common site for lesson plans becuase it offers so many. The list are in the column on the left hand side of the page and are organized by top 10, by features, and by subject.

Professional Teacher Organizations

The National Council of Teachers of English

This website is for english teachers. It offers teachers opportunities to apply for grants, become a member, professional articles, and attend conferences.

The National Council or Teachers of Math

This is the organization designed to meet the needs of math teachers. This site offers resources, lessons, and tips for math development at all levels of education.

American Federation of Teachers

This is one of the major teacher union organizations that teachers can join. The site discusses unions and their benefits and what resources are offered to those that are a part of the organization.

Resources for Teachers

Teacher Net

This is a great website for teachers. It is sponsered by Highlights, the magazine, and it has many useful resources and tips for teachers.

Teacher Resources

This site offers games and puzzles that can be printed as worksheets or online options as well. This site also has links to resources for hands on activities!

K-12 Teacher Resource

This site allows you to select the disipline and the grade for which you would like to search for resources and then it gives you a narrowed list of results.
