Section 2- History of Ludington
Section 1- About Me
My name is Kevin Hansen. I am a 24 year old senior at Western Michigan University. I am majoring in Computer Information Systems. I enjoy to disc golf, hunt, and spend time with my friends. During the summer months I live in Ludington and work at a local brew pub. I have been interested in computers and technology since I can remember. When I am done with school I hope to find a career that I can use my skills learned at WMU.
Section 2- History of Ludington
In 1675 Jacques Marquette, who was a French missionary died near the shore of a lake in Ludington. The lake is now known as the Pere Marquette lake. In 1845, Burr Caswell moved to the area near the mouth of the Pere Marquette River as a location for trapping and fishing.

Section 4- What I'm proud of-
What I'm proud of at home-
I am proud of my disc golfing skills. I have been playing disc golf for about 6 years and have developed into a pretty good player. I represent our disc golf group in the tournaments that are played in Ludington. The best part of my game is my drive. I can throw a driver between 400-420 feet consistently on flat ground.
What I'm proud of at school-
am proud of my grades at school. When I was in high school, by grades were terrible. I had to attend a community college after high school to be able to transfer to WMU. Since I have been at WMU I have refined my study habits, and my grades reflect that.
Section 5- Sites I like
Google.com- Who doesn't love Google? Privacy issues aside, they are the best tool for information on the web. Google has settled many arguments between my friends and I. It knows EVERYTHING.
Half.com- Best place to buy used and new textbooks. On average I spend less than 1/2 of what the bookstore wants to charge me for books. Less money on books means more money for other things, like Jimmy Johns.
Yahoo.com- Great site for hosting a fantasy football league. Everything is free of charge. I also use Yahoo for free email.
Download.com- Nice site to download software. I like to download from this site because they seem pretty trustworthy and scan their files for viruses.
PDGA.org- I use this site to find courses around the state. I also am a member so they keep track of the tournements I play in and how I do.
