Text Box: It’s time to get back into the books and help the students meet their goals. Before winter break the students had been working on making their goals for their AR reading. Every student successfully got to the 25% mark before Winter break. Great thanks to all the help from each and every one of you! We have a little more then a month to get to the 50% Text Box: mark and as long as the students are doing the reading at home, I know this can happen. If the students meet their goal by March 15, they get to go to the zoo in April. The only thing we all have to remember is that every student has to be at the 50% mark by March in order for the students to go to the zoo! The main focus for students this month will be Text Box: Reading, Writing and Addition. Any extra tissue boxes donated would be very appreciated. And remember to bundle the kids up, it’s freezing out there! Text Box: The Valentine’s Day party will be held on Valentine’s day this year! It’s going to be on a Thursday and volunteers are always needed. It is going Text Box: to start at 1:45 and go until 3: 15. We are going to be passing out Valentines, eating treats and playing games.
