Katy Kick!!!

Hello There!

Greetings from Western Michigan University! My name is Kathryn Amelia Kick (I go by "Katy" however) and I am currently a senior double majoring in BFA Art and BBA Advertising and Promotions. As you can tell, I am quite the busy-body!

Where I Come From...

I was born in Sacramento, California on May 18, 1989. When I was 2 years old, my family and I made a LONG move to the small town of Iron Mountain, part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. There, I attended the Breitung Township school system for my K-12 education: Woodland Elementary, Kingsford Middle School, and Kingsford High School.

What It's Like Being Me

When I find that my studies in college leave some time for leisure activities (which isn't often), I enjoy being active in aerobic exercise, reading, hanging out with my family and friends, going to theatre productions and the movies, and, of course, doing anything with art: drawing, painting, sculpting, etc.

My Soaring Dreams...

Although my future is still somewhat a blur to me, I want to be able to contribute my artisitc talents to society, whether it be through directing graphic designers in an advertising campaign, or becoming a professor and teaching art at a university. I believe there are unlimited options that anyone can do, and I am anxious to keep a lookout for any interesting internships or programs that I can do!
