In order to become an entrepreneur and own my own businesses someday I'm going to need the skills, knowledge, and experiences that only college can offer. Anyone can open a business but not just anyone can make a business successful. If my businesses (whether they are a clothing store, coffee shop, music store or a combination of the three) are to be successful I need to know what it takes to manage a business and that's where Western comes in.

College is also going to help me in ways beyond the classroom. Coming from a small town, it's a very different experience to be around so many different people. Everyday I am learning something different about someone. Also, finally living on my own has given me the chance to learn about myself and I have been forced to be more independent. In the short time I have been here, college has been an invaluable learning experience inside the classroom and out.
