The company counts more than 740,000 paid subscribers with the balance of phone lines going to advertising-supported free subscribers.

The company operates a global network based on both traditional phone infrastructure and Internet Protocol (IP) technology. The network is leased from telecom carriers and from colocation providers in the US and around the globe.

Chairman Richard Ressler owns about 5% of the company.
